Hace un par de semanas, cuando hice el post sobre los Doctor Bags, me surgió una duda que seguro que a muchas de ustedes alguna vez les habrá surgido y a lo mejor ya la habrán «googleado», mi duda era cual era el bolso más caro del mundo? Ya saben que soy una «bag lover» y nunca me había surgido esa pregunta hasta que hice ese post, así que me puse investigar a y aquí les dejo lo que encontré… a ver que les parece…obviamente ya que hice el «research» les dejo con algunos de los bolsos más caros del mundo, aunque algunos particularmente tengo que decir que no me gustan nada!!!
A few weeks ago when I did the Doctor’s bag post, it came tome one doubt that maybe some of you also have had it and maybe you have already «google it». My «doubts» was: which was the expensive bag in the world? You know that Im a bag lover and even of that I had never thought about this until that day, so I start to «investigate» and see what I find…and since I did the research I will also out some other bags that are also part of the most expensive bags list, but I must say that some of them don’t like me at all!
1. «Diamante 1001 Noches» de la prestigiosa joyería Mouawad de Dubai que también fue el creador del Fantasy Bra de Victoria’s Secret, como imaginarán, este es, y con mucha diferencia el bolso más caro del mundo, cuesta nada más y nada menos que 3.8 millones de dólares y esta hecho en oro de 18 kilates, totalmente a mano por 10 artesanos que trabajaron durante 4 meses en su elaboración y cuenta con más de 4500 incrustaciones de diamantes (105 amarillos, 56 en color rosas y 4.356 incoloros).
1. 1001 nights Diamond, from the House of Mouawad in Dubai who also created the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra, and as you can imagine this is the most expensive bag in the world. It cost 3.8 million dollars and is handcrafted form 18kt gold and adorned with more than 4500 diamonds ( 105 yellow diamonds, 56 pink ones and 4.356 colorless diamonds).
2. The Hermes Birkin, fue creado en el 2008 por el diseñador Japones Ginza Tanaka y se ha convertido en el segundo bolso más caro del mundo al costar 1.9 millones de dólares. Está hecha de platino y cuenta con más de 2000 diamantes. Lo bueno es que es súper versátil ya que la correa de diamantes puede quitarse y usarse como collar o pulsera y el enorme diamante de 8 kilates en forma de pera se puede usar como broche, así que viendo así, tampoco es tan caro no? 😉
2.The Hermes Birkin, it was created in 2008 by the Japanese designer Ginza Tanaka and became the second most expensive bag in the world since it costs 1.9 million dollars. This bag is made of platinum and is adorned with more than 2000 diamonds. The good things is that it is a pretty versatile bag since the diamond strap can be used as a necklace or as a bracelet by just detaching it form the bag. Also the 8 karat pear shaped diamond can be used separately, so if you see it in this way, it not too expensive right? 😉
3. Chanel Diamonds Forever, este bolso de la prestigiosa casa Chanel cuenta con el puesto número tres, aunque si lo comparamos con los otros su precio ya es «mucho» más razonable (just kidding), sólo cuesta 261,000 dólares, claro que si tenemos en cuenta que tiene 334 diamantes incrustados y una correa de oro de 18 kilates, hasta no los podríamos estar pensando….Claro que la cosa está un poco complicada porque sólo hay 13 bolsos de este modelo en el mundo y ya todos están vendido y una de las afortunadas es Madonna.
3. Chanel Diamonds Forever, this bag compare to the other ones is not that «much expensive» (just kidding), it only cost 261,000 dollars, but if we take in account that it has 334 incrusted diamonds and a 18 karat gold strap,w e might even think about buy it…The only problem is that there are only 13 bags of this type and they are all already sold, but you can always ask Madonna for it since she is one of the lucky one that has it.
4. Cleopatra Clutch, este bolso es hecho por Lana Marks y sólo hace uno al año. Cuesta 250,000 dólares, así que si ahorran a lo mejor el próximo año pueda ser suyo! O se pueden hacer una súper star y tener la suerte de llevarlo, así como lo hizo Helen Mirren en los premios de la Academia en el 2007, claro que sólo suelen ceder un bolso al año para lucirlo en la alfombra roja, así que a ponerse las pilas!
4. Cleopatra Clutch, this clutch is made by Lana Marks and only one bag is produced per year. It cost 250,000 dollars, so if you save some money next year might be yours! Or you can become a super star and be lucky enough to wear it on a red carpet, as Helen Mirren did on the 2007 Academy Awards, the only thing is that they only allow one star per year to carry it out, so you must be alert!
5. The Black Asprey Bag, este bolso se ha colado en el puesto número 5 cinco ya que era el que solía utilizar Margaret Thatcher cada vez que acudía a algún evento importante y fue subastado en el 2011 en 159,535 dólares. Nada mal para ser un bolso un tanto sencillo!

6. Urban Satchel Bag de Louis Vuitton, este bolso llega a este puesto con el precio de 150.000 dólares, y como lo ven, no, no están alucinando, y sí, está hecho de desperdicios… botellas de agua, envoltorios de caramelos, paquetes de cigarrillos, etc. Por ahí dice la leyenda que este bolso ni siquiera existe a pesar de que la campaña publicitaria fue protagonizada por Ashley Olsen. Exista o no, definitivamente no me lo compararía así costará 5€.
6. Urban Satchel Bag by Louis Vuitton, this bag costs 150.000 dollars, and as you see it, no you are not hallucinating and yes it is made of junk items…water bottles, candy wraps, cigarette packets, etc. Some say that this bag doesn’t even exist regardless that Ashely Olsen was the star of the advertising campaign. Exists or not, definitively I wouldn’t buy it even if it cost 5€.
7. Hermes Matte Crocodile Birkin bag, acabo mi selección de bolsos inalcanzable con uno que a mi personalmente me encanta (claro que en su gama más económica que igual sigue siendo un poco inalcanzable). Este bolso Birkin hecho de piel de cocodrilo y con diamantes incrustados cuesta 120,000 dólares. Sin duda es una belleza e ideal para toda ocasión, pero me temo que se me escapa un poco de mi presupuesto! ;(
7. Hermes Matte Crocodile Birkin bag, I finish my selection of impossible bags with one model that I personally love. This Birkin bag made of crocodile skin and numerous dazzling diamonds costs 120,000 dollars. It is a beauty and great for any occasion, but I’m afraid that it goes totally out of my budget! ;(
Yo ya tengo mi favorito!!! Claro que todo tiene un límite y de momento no creo que gastaría mi dinero en ninguno de ellos!! A ver si este diciembre por fin me gano la lotería!! 😉
I already have my favorite one!! Of course that everything have a limit and for the moment I wouldn’t expend this kind of money in any of them!! Hope that this December I finally win the lottery!!! 😉
